The National Spanish Exam at all levels contains TWO (2) parts:  Achievement and Proficiency.

Proficiency

Vocabulary

Reading Comprehension

Grammar

Listening Comprehension

 

Each part of the exam is 40 minutes in length for a total of 80 minutes. 

 

Most teachers choose to give the exam on two separate days during the normal class period.

 

NOTE:  Teachers should allow an additional five (5) minutes for students to fill out the student information section on the Achievement part of the test.
