¡Mi experiencia en El Lago Del Bosque fue muy fantástica!

I was really excited to go to the Concordia Language Village because I have always loved languages and one of my life goals is to become fluent in at least one or two besides my own.

Since I didn’t know anyone that had ever attended Concordia Language Villages, I felt completely on my own. Despite my doubts and worries, I remembered what my mother told me before I left: "I promise you that this is going to be an unforgettable experience that you won’t regret. With that in mind, I took a deep breath as the bus finally pulled up to the campsite.

I really think that it helped me prepare for the future and college when I have to enter a new environment of people away from home.

The counselors ALWAYS spoke to us in SPANISH and we were expected to respond in Spanish. Unlike my teachers back home, they never reverted to English, and this was very nice.

My NEW friends, a NEW comfort with Spanish and a NEW appreciation for Spanish culture (and food!) are the most valuable things that I take away from my trip.

The strong emphasis on the Spanish language greatly developed my listening comprehension, speaking and vocabulary.  Now, I am ecstatic to share my experience and improved Spanish language skills with my classmates and teachers in the fall.  I can’t wait to tell them how much I learned and gained as a result of attending the Concordia Language Village.

I am so grateful to the people who made this trip an option for me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
